Isa Knox | Age Focus Prime and Phyto Pro-Retinol

Isa Knox, found at Nature Collection, is a Korean skin science brand. The brand’s name represents beauty, elegance, and the goddess of night – as nighttime is the right time for skin recovery and regeneration.

The Isa Knox Age Focus Prime collection is designed for those searching for age-defying solutions for deep wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, loss of elasticity, dryness and enlarged pores. As most skincare lines focus on the epidermis and the dermis, Isa Knox Age Focus Prime focuses on the core layer of the skin with the following key components of the line (below taken from their website):

• Prime Pro-RetinolTM – a natural Retinol precursor that is safe to use day and night

• Phyto-DNA – provides strong care for the core layer of the skin

• Ornithine – a type of amino acid that exists in human skin. This ingredient firms the skin and helps builds strength

• Prime Hole Technology – this highly elastic formula spreads easily over the entire face and neck delivering a firming and brightening effect. Squalane wraps around the active ingredients allowing the tiny molecules to penetrate the skin.

I have been testing out a lovely multi-tasking product from this line for the past month, the Isa Knox Age Focus Prime Double Effect Face and Eye Cream. Sold at Nature Collection for $116, this lightweight cream really delivers the moisture.

Not only is this cream great for the whole face, I’ve been using it on my neck, decolletage, and top of my hands.  Said to provide 30 hours of benefits, I have noticed my skin is soft, smooth and hydrated, all day. The Prime Hole Technology creates tiny molecules that allow ingredients to penetrate the skin around the eye area – which makes this cream very unique. I usually never apply face cream to my eye area – but I appreciate the one less step in my routine when I use this luxurious cream!

Now, the Isa Knox Age Focus Phyto Pro-Retinol line has me SO excited. My skin can be sensitive to retinols and the Phyto-Pro Retinol used by this Isa Knox line is so unique! It is derived from basil and safe to use on skin day and night.

I sampled the Isa Knox Age Focus Phyto Pro-Retinol Facial Oil for the last month. It sells for $68 and is formulated to be applied to clean skin, following your toner.

Using 2 pumps of the oil on my face with each application, I love how quickly it absorbs. And the smell – like nothing in particular; just light and pretty, which I always appreciate. This product is made for all skin types – so oily and sensitive skin, dry or combination.

Along with the Phyto Pro-retinol, this oil also contains Tocopherol (Vitamin E) – a great antioxidant, which helps skin elasticity and Cedrol, extracted from Chinese Juniper. Cedrol firms and tightens the skin.

I have been using this product twice per day and it wears great under foundation and never feels heavy.
