Glow Recipe | Three New Toner Pads

Glow Recipe Toner Pads

Spring! Finally! This winter seemed like an eternity and I am overly ready for Spring and switching up my skincare routine. I am a big fan of Glow Recipe and they recently released a new trio of toner pads delivering the results of a luxurious Korean facial…but delivered in just five minutes. Because who has the time!?

Glow Recipe’s new Toner Pads were inspired by the Korean philosophy of layering targeted treatments for visible results. What I love is that each pad is designed to address a specific skin need; exfoliating, brightening, and calming. You can use them alone or mix them up, targeting the area of your skin with what it needs the most – personalized skin care!

Glow Recipe’s LHA + AHA Exfoliating Toner Pads:

LHA AHA Glow Recipe toner pad

These are multi layer resurfacing pads that combine five exfoliating agents; AHA, BHA, PHA, LHA, plus enzymes. These pads are used to refine texture while clearing congestion. When tested, 100% of the subjects showed a reduction in pore size after 5 minutes.

Glow Recipe’s PDRN+ Repair + Soothe Toner Pads:

These are calming and recovery focused pads powered by a vegan PDRN complex. Now, PDRN is the talk of the town and you might be asking – what is that? Does it actually contain salmon sperm (spoiler, yet is does…but have no fear)?!

PDRN is a new buzz-worthy K-Beauty ingredient taking over shelves that has quite a bit of science promoting its effects for improving your skin. PDRN, or polydeoxyribonucleotide, are DNA fragments derived from sperm cells of certain trout or, more commonly in skincare, salmon which is filtered and sterilized. PDRN is great for regenerating tissue and cell renewal, helping create more resilient, firmer, smoother skin.

These toner pads contain vegan PDRN (no salmon here!) derived from white rice and prickly pear, plus centella and panthenol to help support barrier repair and reduce visible signs of irritation. These are clinically proven to strengthen the skin barrier by 49% in just 5 minutes.

Glow Recipe’s Vitamin C Brightening Toner Pads:

I am a big advocate of Vitamin C in your skin care regime and these toner pads are gentle and formulated with five types of vitamin C. They also contain niacinamide (another fan favourite) and caffeine to help improve the look of dullness, dark spots, and fatigue. 94% of subjects showed a highly significant reduction in hyperpigmentation and dark spots after 3 weeks.

In stores now – these pads are currently $42 for 60 pads.
