Dry hand salvation | Three of the best hand creams

Best hand creams

It’s DRY y’all. My hands are already begging for extra attention and it’s not even officially winter yet. This had me thinking it’s the perfect time to spill the best hand cream beans to you, my dear reader.

I don’t know about you, but greasy-feeling hands give me the creeps. Leaving smudge marks on my keyboard, phone or remote is just plain icky and we all deserve better than this. The below hand creams are fast-absorbing, great smelling, and extra hydrating.

Dry, flaky, cracking hands be gone! Welcome soft, smooth and spoiled hands, fingers and nails with the very best hand creams.

Why not multi-task when applying cream to those dry digits?

The new (to Canada) ZERO by Skin Academy Hand & Nail Cream is a multitasking dream cream.

Enriched with Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Sacha Inchi Seed Oil and Shea Butter – this fast-absorbing, lux-feeling cream helps transform scaly to smooth. What I love about this brand besides their effective products, is their environment-first ethos; all ZERO packaging is sustainably sourced and 100% recyclable. This cream also smells lovely – almost citrus, but gentle and subtle.

Soap & Glory is a whimsical and cheeky brand from the UK and I have been a fan of theirs since I lived there. Bright and fun scents, effective ingredients and generously-sized products at great prices…what more could you want?

Soap & Glory Call of Fruity No Woman No Dry – I currently have this vat-sized body butter at my desk and I dip in after I wash my hands.

It is super thick but absorbs in a snap. Made with coconut oil, coconut butter, passion fruit and aloe extracts, and vitamin E, this formulation is the real deal.

I can not get enough of the scent! They describe it as ‘Call of Fruity‘ – a mix of hibiscus, cantaloupe melon and cedarwood – it is like nothing I’ve sniffed before. Great for the whole body, I also love to massage this into my feet before bed. You can pick this up, here:).

My final hand cream favourite is from Canadian brand, Scentuals.

I have dished on this brand before and am still a huge advocate. Their Grapefruit and Turmeric Hand Repair Cream is legit a winner for this dry season.

I keep a tube of this in the kitchen as it is a perfect olfactory complement to what’s cooking. A bright, clean and refreshing scent with ingredients like Shea and Cocoa butter, Aloe, Organic Argan and Sweet Almond Oil that nourish the skin and leave it so so smooth. My husband also loves this lotion – he is allergic to most creams, but not this one.

All three are perfect stocking stuffers…’cause ‘Tis the Season.

If you are experiencing dry hands – check out the above. I’d love to hear what you snap up.
