It’s no secret that I LOVE Broadway.
In the last decade I’ve been to a countless number of shows and in that time, I’ve seen a handful of them a second or third time.
But then there’s my FAVOURITE show… and that one I’ve seen more times than the fingers on my hand.
WAITRESS
With music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, the score of Waitress is my go-to Broadway singalong soundtrack (yes, in my mind I’m a Tony winning Broadway star).
I’m such a fan of the show that when it was announced that Sara would take to stage to play the iconic lead role of Jenna in NYC, I flew there just to see it happen.
And when I found out it was ‘sold out’ I waited outside the box office in the wee hours of the morning for several hours, in the snow… and with Broadway God’s willing, I luckily snagged a last minute cancelation ticket.
Then, as an added bonus that morning, Broadway star Natasha Yvette Williams who plays Becky stopped by and gave us an impromptu performance while we waited.

It’s true… I love Waitress that much!
In fact is my #1 favourite Broadway Show… and because of that, I need you to see it too!
Right now the show is currently touring with Broadway Across Canada but on November 19th the show will open in Calgary and I’ve got a set of tickets to giveaway!
