Prairie Grid Dinner is BACK

September 16, 2018

Growing up in Saskatchewan I’ve always known the that prairies are not only filled with beautiful landscapes but that the people from them are filled with talent.

Last year I attended the inaugural event of the Prairie Grid Dinner series; an evening of locally inspired food and drinks paired with designs and creations from talented prairie artists, before it toured the prairies.

Everything from the plates the food is served on to the aprons the chefs wore told the story of the places and spaces of the Canadian prairies. These aprons, created by Laurie Brown, were inspired by the aerial view of prairie farm landscapes…

This year on September 27th in Calgary, Prairie Grid will kick-off and celebrate new artists with new designs, and new chefs with – once again – thoughtful and creative dishes. Calgary’s event will be set against the picturesque backdrop of the Calgary Shrine Centre. Events will follow in Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.

If that weren’t enough, there will be an exclusive cocktail, unavailable anywhere else, for you to wash your eats down with.

Not wanting to give too many of the surprises away, know that your pals will be pleased and your artistic self will be overwhelmingly stimulated.

There are a few tickets left for Prairie Grid Dinner in Calgary and the tickets can be purchased HERE.

Hope to see you there for memorable night celebrating the talents of from the Prairies.
