This year the Fairmont Palliser will be shaking up their Holiday Tea during a very limited run.
With their lobby restaurant undergoing a massive renovation and rebranding, this year they will be offering Afternoon Tea, with musical accompaniment, in their Gold Lounge located on the hotel’s penthouse floor.
What’s typically only visited by the upper echelon of hotel guests, will now be exclusively offered to tea goers to enjoy.
Today I was offered an advanced seating and a look at the chefs creation to come.
The 3 tier display will host a selection of savory snacks on the bottom.
While in the middle; The Palliser traditional and iconic warm scones.
Served with a side of cream and jam, my suggestion is to start with one and finish with the other.
(Or toss one in your purse or bag for a snack later in the day)
Lastly, the top floor of the tower is an array of sweets and they do not disappoint!
Fruitcake, shortbread, mint cream macarons, Yule log and a little angelic sweet tucked in the back that’ll have you thinking you’ve found heaven.
With only approximately 50 tea spots available per day and only offered over 8 days, the Fairmont Palliser’s Holiday Tea is sure to sell out quickly.
Cost is $70 per person and allows you 2.5 hours to snip and snack in a luxurious setting.
