Dr. Dennis Gross releases products that are not only innovative but effective. They are a marriage between clinical dermatology and formulating chemistry. The latest, brand new skincare release is described as a 3D alternative to injectables. I’ve been using this new serum for one month and it is now available in stores – it’s the brand new Dr. Dennis Gross DermInfusions Serum 3D Fill + Repair.
Injectables are both fillers and neuromodulators. Examples of neuromodulators are Dysport and Botox. Examples of fillers are; Restylane, Juvéderm, Sculptra and Radiesse.
How filler works is Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is injected into the dermal layer of the skin and spreads out to provide a 3D volumizing effect – up, down and sideways. Volume = length x width x height. As we lose hyaluronic acid as we age – we lose volume and this leads to enhanced fine lines, crepiness, and sagging plus those family tendencies start to accelerate.

What I really have noticed about this product is it’s super hydrating and could replace needing a moisturizer for most folks – especially in the warmer months. I also love that everything is compatible with this product – it pairs wonderfully with retinol. And, it’s recommended for all skin types (even super sensitive and rosacea-prone like mine). My skin feels bouncier, smoother, and fully hydrated.
