Today was 4th Streets Annual Pancake Showdown and I woke up with one thing on my mind…. PANCAKES!
Todays competition had 4th street restaurants and shops mixing up some pretty unbelievable fluffy concoction, with hopes to impress hundreds of visitors, secure their votes and take home the title of Best Gourmet Pancake on 4th street!
And there were some pretty epic entries!
Here’s a look at a few of my favorites and the one that took MY vote!

Cinnamon Bun Pancake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Pecans.

Buttermilk Pancakes with Lime Cream Cheese, Shredded Coconut, Fresh Mint and Maple Syrup.
The above were delicious but my vote for 2019’s Best Gourmet Pancake on 4th Street goes to…
Vin Room – @vinroomyyc
A Chinese Chive Pancake with Hoisin Sauce and 5 Spice Crème Fraîche.
A uniquely chewy, sweet pancake with an interesting blend of savory spices.
I will crave these pancakes throughout the year!
