Wear & Share Your Pride

June 18, 2019

June is recognized as World Pride month and although Pride is celebrated year long, this particular month has seen some incredible and monumental happenings in the LGBTQ community.

This year marks 50 years since the decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada, and in America we honour those who fought for their rights 50 years ago during the Stonewall Inn Riots.

In support of our community’s continued fight for equality, this year a wide array of fashion brands have created special offerings to help us celebrate these moments.

Here’s a look at a few of brands and items you’ll see me wearing this year!

H&M

“Stay True, Stay You”

This year H&M is celebrating love, equality, and togetherness in all its glory!

For this year’s Pride, 10% of the global sales from this collection will support the work of the United Nations’ Free & Equal campaign.

LEVI’S

“Proud. Together.”

This year, 100% of net proceeds from the collection will be going to OutRight Action International! You can find more info and pieces just below.

It’s Pride: and to celebrate, Levi’s has launched a new collection of styles that celebrates togetherness and finding your people.

The latest lineup features a range of ‘70s skate-inspired styles, including ringer tees, 501 Cut-Off Shorts, Trucker Jacketsand vintage-cut socks with rainbow details.

Under Armour

“United We Win”

“Under Armour has always focused on making performance apparel for people, not labels. We celebrate athletes in all their forms, no matter what they look like or who they love. We’re proud to support the LGBTQ athletes who are part of our family, and wanted to create a collection that celebrates them and LGBTQ athletes all over the world.”

Banana Republic

“Equality Collection”

Celebrate equality for all, each and every day, with a rainbow of options – from the BR family to yours.

Banana Republic will donate 50% of the purchase price from the sale of each limited-edition Equality Collection item to the United Nations Foundation in support of the United Nations Free & Equal Campaign for LGBTQ equality.

Pura Vida

“LGBT Pride Awareness”

The simple rainbow string bracelets benefit the La Jolla-based brand’s neighbors at San Diego LGBT Pride , whose mission is to foster pride, equality and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities locally, nationally and globally.

Thanks to all these amazing brands for sharing their love for our love!
