I remember shopping with my friend, Lisa, in my favourite Boots in London trying to learn more about this product called Nanoblur (because it was all over the UK beauty mags, back in 2011). The price was right and the results just seemed too good to be true! We had to have this imperfection-blurring, light-diffusing miracle product. It filters the skin and reduces the look of fine lines and pores and leaves skin looking flawlessly smooth.
Fast forward seven years and I was invited to a launch event for Indeed Laboratories’ new colour line…then it clicked – the infamous Nanoblur was their first product launch, and here I was at their latest! Swearing this was a UK company, I was even more excited to learn how wrong I was – Indeed Laboratories is not only a Canadian company, but a Toronto-based company! Indeed Laboratories – Canadian made!
I love supporting Canadian and love supporting local so I quickly stocked up on all things Indeed Laboratories and started testing them out so you can go confidently into any Shoppers Drug Mart and stock up on these clinically-proven, solution-focused, high quality skincare products that actually do what they say.
First – Nanoblur Colour Correctors – $16.99
Coming in three colours, Indeed Laboratories just launched their cult-classic with additional colour correcting technology and squalane (a super hydrator).
Purple Nanoblur – Brightens dull skin
Yellow Nanoblur – Evens skin tone (I have not tried this one yet…but wanted to let you know about it)
Green Nanoblur – Reduces the appearance of redness
They all lock in moisture, give the skin an even and smooth finish, and are lightweight – so you can wear them alone or layered under additional products. I like how smooth and even my skin looks when wearing these. If I am rocking a ‘no makeup day’, I pop on a little Green Nanoblur around my nose to reduce redness and purple across my skin to add some brightness and hydration.
Sticking with the theme of hydration, next is Indeed Laboratories’ Squalane – $17.99
This lightweight facial oil instantly hydrates skin using 100% sugarcane-derived squalane. Clinically-proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines while boosting your skin’s hydration levels, I am really enjoying wearing this oil this time of year when humidity is low and my skin needs an extra boost. It absorbs really quickly and can be worn alone, layered, or mixed into your moisturizer.
I can’t help but giggle when I read this product’s name – Snoxin II – $29.99
Funny name, serious results. Snoxin II is a peptide-loaded serum that minimizes muscle contractions to soften the appearance of ‘dynamic lines’. Along with this, it offers long-term results like smoother skin and improve elasticity. It says you can expect results within two hours of application. I was a skeptic but have to say my skin looks really good when I remember to use this product – plumper and smoother.
Indeed Laboratories’ Collagen Booster – $24.99
This multi-peptide serum helps to restore your skin’s firmness, elasticity and volume by encouraging collagen production. I like this booster as you can easily mix it into your moisturizer, or wear it on it’s own. Again, I am naturally a sceptic, but after using this product I do notice my skin looks plumper and smoother.
Indeed Laboratories Vitamin c24 – $24.99
You know I love me my Vitamin C, using it regularly (2-3 times per week) has noticeably changed my skin. Indeed Laboratories’ Vitamin c24 has an incredible 22% L-ascorbic acid (the purest and most potent form of vitamin C). What is unique about this product is it’s formula stays stable and is designed to absorb into skin. Not only does this product make my skin more radiant, it protects it from environmental stressors like free radicals and pollution. Because it is so potent, I use this product three times per week, at night. If you use a Vitamin C product in the day, make sure you are using an SPF!
