Every season there are amazing new products being introduced. Though exciting, it can sometimes seem overwhelming. To try and help out our dear readers sift through the glorious lip products on the scene, I put my smackers to the test!

the lip scrub Crème Brûlée ($34.13/30g product)
To avoid the look of coloured sandpaper, the kissers need to be smooth. Sara Happ created the lip scrub to gently exfoliate lips with sugar and food-grade essential oils. There are a variety of scents from this cruelty-free product, which all smell delicious. Bonus: while travelling, I forgot my face scrub, so I used this mixed with my cleanser and it worked beautifully – just be certain to rinse/tone well.
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask ($30/15g product)
Leather is meant for handbags and not mouths, so moisture is the key. Canadian, Susanne Langmur, wanted to fill a void she saw in the beauty industry; due to the amount of lip products ingested by any make-up user, she created a food-grade quality brand that was safe enough to be eaten. BRILLIANT. The cruelty-free Agave Lip Mask hydrates lips with agave nectar, jojoba and anti-oxidant trans-resveratrol. I use every night and my lips feel so soft. stila Color Balm Lipsticks ($29/3.4g product)
Re-launched in April, the stila Color Balm Lipstick gives a flirtation of colour while nourishing like your fav lip balm. You get the best of both worlds. Concentrated plant-based emollients melt on contact leaving your lips feeling comfortably creamy in 3 gorgeous cruelty-free shades: Opal, Grayson and Misty . Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy ($34/3.4g product)
The Estée Lauder brand is known for their classic approach to beauty. I am a huge fan of their HI-Lustre lipsticks (Drop Dead Red is my go to) as they are incredibly creamy with long-lasting pigment. With numerous hues to choose from, the signature magnetic closure is a big helper for any busy beauty lover – no more pen ruining your fav lippie whose top fell off. Bonus: Beautifully build-able formula.
