Quick and Fancy NYE: Quick Tips & Giveaway

New Years Eve is synonymous for sparkle, glam and pulling out your fancy pants.

But it takes time to doll up – time we don’t have! The hair, the makeup, the outfit… So this year we want to make your big night a simplified – but still totally glamorous – affair with these NYE Glam Quick Tips.

Problem – It’s ten minutes before 10PM and you have tickets to a neighbourhood NYE party. The problem is, you are currently sitting on your couch munching on left overs with no makeup on.

Solution? A sparkly lip!

Add a little sparkle to your NYE makeup and you can go from un-done to dolled up in a swipe.

Some lustworthy sparkle factories are Pat McGrath Labs Lust 004 Lipstick Kit.

This kit comes with two highly pigmented lipsticks, a clear gloss, one gold and one red container of loose sparkly pigment.  Swipe on the lipsticks, glide on the gloss then press on the pigment. I mean, look at this picture from Sephora – that lip is down right enchanting.

My fave, stila, also has the perfect sparkly solution. This year they curated five of their sought-after liquid lipsticks and created a holiday kit called ‘stay all day, sparkle all night’. What makes this kit sparkle is their Glitterati topcoat. Glittery magic in a tube, this topcoat can go over any matte lipstick, adding a pop of shimmery glittery in one swipe.
