I’ve always been a fan of theatre; growing up I had big dreams of becoming a star actor.
And although life’s taken me in another exciting direction, rest assured, that goal still sits on my to-do list.
However, last week, I had the chance to get a small taste of the marvellous world of the stage after I was selected from the audience to play the role of the hero in Rebecca Northan’s new show: Legend Has It
A completely improved show from a very quick witted talented cast who literally build the show as it goes based on the choices the ‘hero’ make.
And boy oh boy, did I make choices!
During the 2 hour, 1 intermissions show I rode a ‘lava-gator’, died once, escaped from a dungeon and fought the bad guys in an epic scratch off! If I were to have watched this show, I never would have imagined that it wasn’t somewhat scripted and would have question if the audience member they pulled wasn’t a plant.
But I can promise you with 100% certainty that the ‘hero‘ completely makes his own choice and the cast backs up their every move.
Im so excited to see the show again during its Calgary run at the Alberta Theatre Projects (ATP) which is on now until December 31st… I can’t wait to see another hero in action!
Rebecca Northan’s shows are always original and spectacular with an exceptional cast & crew…
They are so amazing, I want to make sure you see them too, so I’m giving a pair of tickets away!
If you live in Calgary, are free the evening of December 3rd and want to go to the show, tweet me the following and in next 12 hours I’ll randomly select a winner and award them 2 tickets to see the show!
I’d love @immrfabulous to send me to @contemporaryATP to see @LegendOnTour!
This is a show you’ll have to see to believe… And you don’t want to miss it!
Good luck & enjoy the show!
