Next week I’ll be behind the scenes and back stage with some of Country’s hottest Music makers as Virgin Mobile has named me (and my readers) their Concert Series Reporter.
Garth Brooks (July 12th) Johnny Reid (July 13th), and Brad Paisley (July 14th) will all be in Calgary for the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede, which has been listed as one of the top 10 festivals in the world!
And to kick off all the boot scootin’, the Virgin Mobile Concert Series will open with The Beach Boys (July 11th). After two decades the group has reunited to tour and they will be playing some of the favourites I grew up with…
Back on a cool summers eve in 1986, a bunch of us kids who were up to no good raided the fridge while we listened to Surfin’ USA. We then decided it would be a good idea to jump the neighbour’s fence and skinny dip! I was the first one to hit the diving board and as I came up for air, my friends were gone and a flash light shone upon my slippery seal like body.
I can’t wait to hear the songs that shaped my childhood and to relive them a second time with my clothes on….
But where do you come in?
