December 7, 2025
Stocking stuffers

Holiday stockings are my favourite. Little thoughtful treasures all stuffed into a large sock…I do wonder who came up with that idea! To help you stuff your loved one’s large socks…here’s a curated look at budget-friendly, chic treats that feel thoughtful, useful, and indulgent without the price tag panic.

JVN The Essential Dry Shampoo | $40

JVN The Essential Dry Shampoo

For the busy friend who lives between washes, this dry shampoo freshens flattened roots, adds slight texture and creates morning miracles. Clutch when time is the enemy and absolutely perfect for the gym bag. This is one of my favourite dry shampoos…ever. I love the light scent, how fast it works, how it doesn’t make my hair feel weighed down…it’s just so so good. I also just love this brand – every product I’ve tried is excellent.

JVN Perfèct StyleFix Stick | $30

JVN Perfèct StyleFix Stick

I can’t even describe to you how much I love this product. It has become a necessary in my beauty routine. Day three, when my hair miiiiight just use a wash (but who has the time?) – this product creates the perfect slick pony. It smooths, it adds shine, it holds baby hairs in place giving you a perfect polished look. You can also use this on static-y ends and curls to tame and add tousel. And the size! Perfection for a stocking…or a purse or gym-bag.

Shiseido Urban Environment Mineral Clear SPF 50+ | $50

Shiseido Urban Environment Mineral Clear SPF 50+

This mineral sunscreen is purse, gym-bag and travel-size protection that’s broad-spectrum, invisible (zero white cast) and non-greasy. You know my skin is supa sensitive so when I saw Shiseido was doing a mineral SPF I had to try it. I had SPF envy as everyone raves about their SPF collection but, alas, I am allergic to a key ingredient they use in most of their other formulas. So if your loved one is sensitive skinned like me – this is a thoughtful way to say, ‘protect that gorgeous skin of yours”.

Renpure Tea Tree & Rosemary Scalp Serum | $13

Renpure Tea Tree & Rosemary Scalp Serum

Scalp-care is self-care. This serum soothes, refreshes and supports a healthy foundation for hair – a thoughtful pick for anyone who loves their mane or who is just starting on their hair care journey. I like the clarifying Tea Tree oil and soothing Rosemary extract as they give you the appearance of softer, shinier, and smoother hair. I think this is perfect for the teen in your life or a busy friend who would love to slow down and take some self care time.

Tree Hut Vanilla Shea Sugar Scrub + Vanilla Foaming Gel Wash | Under $40 for both

Tree Hut Vanilla Shea Sugar Scrub + Vanilla Foaming Gel Wash

A match made in stocking heaven. The Tree Hut’s Vanilla Shea Sugar Scrub buffs away winter flake and the Vanilla foaming gel wash cleanses – leaving you feeling like you’re wrapped in a vanilla hug. Tree Hut believes everyone deserves self-care without compromise…that’s why they are available in so many locations (Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, and Real Canadian Superstores) and at such a great price. The Tree Hut also has this combo in a festive scent this year – Mistletoe Magic.

Mistletoe Magic

A light berry scent and an Elphaba-approved shade of green. Together they turn the shower into your own private tiny spa — a lux pairing, a lovely price; perfect for friends, mother-in-laws, and teens.

Attitude Super Leaves Hand Cream | $13

You know I love this Canadian brand. And I think this silky, fast-absorbing hand rescue doubles as a sweet self-care ritual. Lightweight but nourishing with Shea butter to soothe dry skin and a fresh and unexpected cucumber fragrance. It slips into a stocking and into pockets for on-the-go TLC.

Attitude Limited Edition Pine & Sage Hand Soap | $9

Attitude Limited Edition Pine & Sage Hand Soap

Clean, crisp and brightly earthy – this soap makes ordinary hand washing feel lux. It’s practical and stylish, with a scent that’s grown-up and perfectly festive. Formulated with 98.8% naturally sourced ingredients – it’s gentle for you and our earth. Plus the packaging is chic and looks cute on a bathroom sink. Oh, and it’s Canadian!

These stocking stuffer ideas are joyful little luxuries without the luxury price.
