Three years ago, after witnessing a beautiful moment of courage and care during Nashville Pride, I was inspired to use my own voice to let my community know that myself and many others would always be there for them.
The LOVED. Collection is an evolving collection that collaborates with brands, business and companies to create a limited edition capsule collection to honor the stories, people and moments from our past and celebrate the successes and achievements the LGBTQ community has made towards equality.
With each collection, generous donations are made to a wide variety of groups who make it a daily mission to support and love the LGBTQ community.
I proudly share The 2021 LOVED. Collection.
I ❤️ NYC – LOVED. x Arin Hiebert
The iconic black and white cookie is synonymous with New York City; the birthplace of the PRIDE movement.
Partnering with the LOVED. Collection, we’ve beautified this cookie to honour Sylvia Rivera who stood up and fought for equality during the Stonewall Uprising and continued to fight for the rights of the Trans community until her death in 2002.
“We have to be visible. We should not be ashamed of who we are.”
A portion of the proceeds from this cookie will be donated to Skipping Stone, a Calgary based organization that offers support and resources to the trans community

Love Nest – LOVED. x Dandy Brewing Co.
This celebrates the landmark “Civil Marriage Act” providing marriage equality to same sex couples across Canada, in July 2005.
Love Nest is a bright, easy, and effervescent Grisette with a touch of spice and a hint of classic farmhouse character. This collaboration celebrates all those that fought for our rights to love equally, even though they themselves may never have had the chance to.
The artwork on this can is an original concept by Mike Hooves (they/them) and was commissioned as a part of the LOVED. collection’s ongoing initiative to support and share LGBTQ artists.
True Magic – LOVED. x Ebony & Ivory
For this collaboration I asked 10 year old Noelle, who has been immersing herself in the world’s history on equality, what the most important thing people should do when they have been made to feel lesser than?
Her response was to “live their truth and be themselves.”
Continuing our conversation Noelle and her Mom wrote down all the words that they felt could bring light, empowerment & connection to the world and asked themselves how living truthfully would feel; during that, the word Magic was written.
And with that “True Magic”, with its undertones of lemon from Ebony & Ivory has been blended as a “Happy” reminder that there magic in everybody when they live their own truth!

Ruby Slipper – LOVED. x Wild Tea Kombucha
In a time where being gay would have you persecuted, asking another man the question: “Are you a friend of Dorothy?” was coded language used to let them know that you were gay and they were safe.
To honour this history, Wild Tea Kombucha proudly wears ‘Ruby Slippers’ and stands in solidarity with our community.
This kombucha is a powerful blend of Ruby Red Grapefruit and Pink Peppercorn with the sparkle of edible glitter.
Bamboo T-Shirt – LOVED. x Local Laundry
This LOVED. T-shirt celebrates Pride by inviting the community to take part in the movement which opens our eyes and our hearts to injustices faced by the LGBTQ community and their continued fight for equality.
The LOVED. t-shirt was created to remind us all that we are all LOVED., no matter our sexuality, race or gender identity.
This shirt has been created and will be sold 365 days a year, to remind us all just how LOVED. each and every one of us is.

The Sky is Sweeter – LOVED. x Made by Marcus
Sarah Hegazi (1989-2020) was an Egyptian socialist, writer, and lesbian activist. She was arrested, imprisoned and tortured for three months after flying a rainbow flag at a Mashrou’ Leila concert in 2017 in Cairo.
After her release Hagazi sought and was granted asylum into Canada. For years she struggled with trauma of her arrest and detention, and in her final days wrote:
“To my siblings – I tried to survive and I failed, forgive me. To my friends – the experience was harsh and I am too weak to resist it, forgive me. To the world – you were cruel to a great extent, but I forgive.”
Leaving this world, Hagazi left us with her final post on social media in Arabic reading “The sky is sweeter than the earth, and I need the sky not the earth.”
To honour the life and fight of Sarah Hagazi, we have thoughtfully reimagined a Persian Love Cake into a Rosewater & Pistachio ice cream and will donate all proceeds from the sale of every pint to Rainbow Railroad, an organization that assists LGBTQ refugees seek asylum in Canada.
