Earlier today I was invited to preview Calgary’s newest addition to the retail market, DUER.
Setting up shop in Mission along 4th Street, DUER’s mission has been to create technical, stylish and comfortable jeans.
This vision began when founder Gary Lenett imagined a pair of pants he could bike to work in, then head right into the boardroom.
DUER was created to make it easier for people to get dressed and get on with the good stuff – the healthy, adventurous, meaningful stuff.
And their pants are just that: versatile, functional, fashionable and most importantly INSANELY comfortable! (They are literally more stretchy and comfy than your Pyjamas.)
Pants come in a few varieties of fits; Slim, Straight, Relaxed as well as an interesting hybrid fit with an average price of $139 (for men’s).
And for myself (ya’ll know I’ve got some calves and thighs on me), the fits are all snug with only the relaxed fit standing a chance on me.
Calgary now features the brand’s third store and location within Canada and it is certainly decked out with all the bells and whistles that its flagship store in Vancouver houses.
Complete with DUER’s famous indoor playground complete with monkey bars, swings and soft rubber flooring. An experiential approach which offers its customers the opportunity to put their pants through the stretch, durability and comfort, test.
Truly offering a ‘try before you buy’ approach.
DUER is now open for 1 on 1 appointments (a personalized shopping experience they are offer to keep everyone COVID comfortable) or on a drop-by basis.
Stop by, you’ll be so happy did!
Welcome to Calgary DUER, we’re excited to have you!
