This Sunday come one, come all down to 4th st in Calgary where Mission & the Beltline will once again host Lilac Festival!
The annual event, which sees thousands of Calgarians hit the street, will feature hundreds of local makers showcasing their wares.
The day is always sunny, hot and overwhelming!
But thankfully this year my friends at Cilantro will he opening their restaurant and patio as a place to take solace and to score a great deal on their sips and snacks.
On June 2 from 2 p.m. until close, they’ll be hosting our first ever BBQ patio party where you’ll find $5 faves like tacos, sliders and wings and $6 drinks including wine, beer, sangria and my drink of choices, Aperol Spritz’s!
They’ll even offer their signature forno baked pizzas for just $15 each as well.
And don’t worry about any pomp and circumstance, Cilantro’s keeping their party fun and casual.
To make things quick and easy, they’ll also be selling food and beverage tickets right at the entrance so you won’t have to worry about tracking down someone to pay your tab.
So this Sunday, take in Lilac Festival and when you need to rest and recharge head to Cilantro for $6 Spritz’s with me!
