Mother’s Day is just a little over a week away and if you’re like me, you’ve already planned a great day for Mom or with Mom!
If you haven’t figured it out… You’re in luck because my friends at WestHills Towne Centre and Country Hills Village Shopping will be hosting their first ever Mother’s Day Surprise & Delight Event for those forgetful few and last minute planners.
On Sunday, May 11th – at both properties – roaming ambassadors will be out between 11am-1pm spotting Mom’s to gift a variety of treats and surprises from their retailers.
Additionally, you can also enter to win Mom a large giveaway basket filled with samples, coupons, and gift certificates at each shopping plaza location.

Start the day by visiting Cobs Bakery for one of their delicious scones and then get your steps in while you shop for great fashions from large retailers like Tommy Hilfiger and Mark’s as well as some local shops like Plum Clothing and, one of my favourite jewelry shops: Joydrop!
Not only do they have a ton of unique and original pieces, they have one of my best ‘go-to’ gifting ideas with a personal touch.
A simple and beautiful addition to any jewelry collection and the best part… It’s under $50.
Next up, what would Mothers Day be without a little ‘her’ time.
Skoah offers a plethora of facial options customized to give your face exactly what it needs.
Make it quick with a 20 minute targeted treatment or pamper her with a 75 minute xtreme facial ($125) that comes with a killer scalp and foot massage!
After a little RnR, it’s time to Rosè.
National Westhills has a ton of great offers, some exclusively for Mother’s Day, but what remains consistent is their daily 3-6pm Happy Hour where rosè is $6, the brown butter seas salt popcorn is free and the tater tots are served up just like Mom use to do!
Lastly, it’s time to hit up a movie at Cineplex.
With so many new ones to hit the big screen, you may even need to take in a double feature.
