If there’s one thing I know, it’s a good deal! So when my friends at Cactus Club messaged me, sharing news of their new Bigger and Better Happy Hour, I called up some friends and planned a date!
Available across Canada, Cactus Club’s Happy Hour menu pricing starts at $3.50 (for a Longboard Lager) and included dozens of offerings from sips to snacks and even full plated entrees!
To motivate your taste buds into visiting, here’s a look at some of my fave items:
Cocktails
Above’s photo includes my 3 ‘musts’; A Sunset Soda ($4.5) made with orange vodka, soda and peach slush, a Whiskey Ginger Smash ($6.5) made with spicy ginger beer, garnished with rosemary… And the Pina Colada ($7) which will have you feeling poolside ready even in the cold of winter!
Start with: (best of the $4 offerings)
A mini Crispy Chicken Sandwich with all the fixings ($4) and a side of Truffle Fries ($4) with Aioli you’ll want to lick right out of the bowl.
Continue with: (best of the $8 offerings)
Nachos and Guac are inevitably a crowd favorite, and this time Cactus Club has kicked it up a level by giving it a Chimichurri flare!
You’ll be sad there’s only 2 because these Butternut Squash Raviolis topped with Prawn and Crispy Sage will have you craving another order!
Finish with: (best of the Mains)
On Cactus Club’s new Happy Hour Menu you’ll be overwhelmed with 14 full sized dishes to choose from.
Priced in categories of $13, $16 and $20 offerings, you’ll see classics like Steak Frites and Cheddar Burgers with fries.
But there are also other unique offerings to explore including a Crispy Tofu Bowl and (what I chose), Blackened Creole Chicken! ($20)
A moist Blackened Creole Chicken breast set on a bounty of asparagus and mashed potatoes all topped with a dollop of herbed butter!
Deliciously decadent!
The entire menu at Cactus Club is as delicious as expected and the savings during their happy hour are plentiful.
So gather your gang and catch up over some great food and drink without breaking the bank!

Sigh I wish I was there! The chimichurri guac is a major game changer
