Next weekend all the gouls and guys will be out, and for many of us the festivities will include house parties.
This morning I was live with my friends at Global Weekend to share some spooky decor ideas and a few DIY’s to get the whole family into the ‘spirit’.
You can watch that HERE.
For decor, I hit up the aisles of HomeSense and shopped ALL departments to show how you can utilize traditional year round home decor mixed with seasonal finds to create an unforgettable tablescape.
Here’s a closer look at a few of my favorite pieces:
Brainless Mummy
With a hollow head, this decor piece can be filled with flowers, lit with floating candle or stuffed with my version of a ‘Bubbling Brew Cheese‘ dip with Big Rock Beer and Jagged Beets.
Spell Books
These box-style books are the perfect place to hide away additional party supplies for back up and because they can nest inside each other, they’re easy to stow away after the holiday.
DIY Ghost Napkins
Cloth napkins can kill your budget, so head to the bedding section in HomeSense. You can typically find a king size flat sheet for under $20 that will reap 40+ circles out of it.
Glue on some goggly eyes and you’ll have custom ghost napkins for less than 50 cents a piece!
So start pulling down your wall shelves, round up your decor and get ready to impress your guests this Halloween!
