This weekend the Rocky Mountain Food & Wine Festival, the biggest wine, beer, spirits, and food festival in Alberta, will take over the Stampede BMO Centre!
With over 200 booths offering more then 290 beers and spirits and 370 wines from 20 different countries, this year’s RMWFF will be as epic as ever!
This year you’ll be able to snack and sip on some old favorites as well as 165 NEW offerings that have been made available in the Alberta market.
Early this week I dish on Diving into Hampton Water, a new to market rosé tied to a famous linkage.
It will be at the festival to sample and will be the booth I’ll be running to.
But it’s not the only thing I look forward to sampling!
This year marks the 430th anniversary of the oldest port company in operation and to commemorate the house is establishment they have released a limited edition port, the Croft 430th Anniversary Celebration Edition.
And it will be at RMWFF to sample!

And for those who love Port, (as I throw my hand in the air), Taylor Fladgate will also be in attendance sampling their Historic Limited Edition Reserve Tawny Port.
The bottle design, which was inspired by the bladder shaped wine bottle manufactured between 1715 and 1740, is filled with the carefully put together blend from Taylor’s is extensive aged Tawny stocks, aged in seasoned oak Port pipes.
This is a tasting you do not want to miss!
With so many booths to visit, time will be of essence so get there early!
