I love a good breakfast but getting somewhere to eat before noon is a hard ‘no’ for me!
So when I’m looking for eggs-on-my-time mid week, the options are non existent.
That was until I discovered Brekkie, which is there for me until 3pm.
Located in the west of the city, I typically wouldn’t have even considered making the drive…
But then I saw the menu.
With 6 options of Eggs Bennys with over half of them being uniquely different than any I’d seen before, I knew I needed to make the trek and give Brekkie a try!
And it was completely worth it!
So how were the Benny’s?
Well first things first, what would an afternoon breakfast be without a Chocolate Espresso Milkshake to start!
Topped with a powdered doughnut, a toasted marshmallow, a cookie, adorned with chocolate covered espresso beans and accessorized with sprinkles; this ‘breakfast’ was was off to a perfect start!
Then it came time to order the Bennys… But I couldn’t decide.
Pineapple Braised Pork Belly or Maple Chili Braised Short Rib, the decision was too tough…
But then, what did my meaty eyes behold? A trifecta of splendor with Brekkies Ranchers Three Egg Plate!
3 Eggs, any style, and a pile of meat!
Thick cut double smoked bacon, then BOTH the pork belly and braised beef I longed for!
Not to mention sourdough toast, spiced black bean ragout, cashew pesto roasted roma and herbed hash!
A meal fit for a fabulous slumber queen!
The meal was opulent, rich, over the top and delicious.
Brekkie, you over exceeded my expectations and delivered me the most important meal of the day on my schedule!
I will be back!
