I’m a big believer in supporting children’s dreams.
The job I have as a now as blogger and social personality wasn’t even a foreseeable ‘occupation’ when I was growing up.
But knowing my friends and family supported me straying from the norm when I was young gave me the confidence to do what I do today!
And that’s why I’m proud to support 4 The Kids Foundationwhich has been empowering underprivileged children both locally and abroad since 2007.
On May 10th the foundation will be hosting their annual flagship fundraiser, Vino for Bambinos, which will partner once again with the Calgary Zoo.
Last years event, which ensured 100% of the $50,000 raised went directly to the kids, was an incredible event with some pretty incredible VIP offerings like Tiger Tug-a-War!
And this year will prove to be just as epic!
For a ticket purchase price of $130, you’ll enjoy tastings from 11 of Calgary’s most popular restaurants as well as sip on a variety of wines, whiskey, vodka & beers.
There will also be live music, educational animal interaction, access to the Butterfly Exhibit and you can bid on some fantastic silent auction items!
And for those who want to get even more up close and personal with the animals of the Calgary Zoo, a limited number of ‘Behind the Scene’ tickets are available that’ll take you on a journey with the carnivores of the Canadian Wild, share a feeding with the Bactrian Camels and take a visit inside Panda Passage before it opens to the public!
