It may be spring, but with snow still inevitable in the Canadian forecast it’s time to move forward like the toasty sun is shining and start to sip a Spring Sangria!
Using fresh fruits and a Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc with crisp acidity, this Sangria recipe will have you feeling the warm breezes before they actually start blowing.
Here’s how to mix a quick and delicious Sangria that’ll impress your friends!
What you’ll need:
- 1 bottle Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc (750ml)
- 3–4 cups sliced green fruit (lime, apple, honeydew, grapes, kiwi, etc.)
- 2–3 sprigs fresh basil
- 2–3 sprigs fresh mint
- 3⁄4 cup lychee liqueur
- Soda Water
What you’ll do:
- In a large pitcher, combine wine, fruit, herbs, and lychee liqueur. Chill for 4–6 hours.
-
To serve, pour into glasses over ice and top with chilled soda water.
Note: To make it a spritzer, just skip the liqueur.
