Being a beauty fanatic, I am always on the hunt the for the best of the best that the beauty industry has to offer. I’ve tried every sort of foundation brush and sponge on the market and have compiled the below just for you! All of these brushes give my face a flawless, natural finish.

Artis Fluenta Oval 10 brush
I was not convinced of the idea of these brushes, and I have to admit the first few attempts felt so so strange. But now this brush is what I reach for in the morning. It leaves my skin flawless looking in no time with very little effort. It is like these brushes glide over your skin, no pulling, no unnecessary buffing due to how packed the fibres are. There are over 250,000 fibres in this brush and, though pricey, is extremely good quality and I can’t stop saying great things about it.
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
I obsessively hunted these Real Techniques brushes down when they were first released, over 6 years ago now. They are the creation of my ultimate favourite Beauty Vloggers – Pixiwoo. I am going to share their YouTube channel link with you…and you can thank me later. OK, here you go :) Not only are they incredibly talented, they are gorgeous and charming and I’ve been following their meteoric rise over the past ten years.
OK, now back to this brush! This was a recent release and it is the best (more traditional) foundation brush I’ve ever used. It buffs foundation in so nicely and easily and it washes like a dream. The price is totally right and the quality is outstanding. The fibers do not shed and it’s the perfect shape and size to hold.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
If you have tried a Beauty Blender, let’s say this is inspired by that concept…but I love it more! I love the flat side – it gets into those nooks and is just easier to use. If you haven’t tried an egg-shaped sponge yet – the key is to soak it under the tap and then squeeze it out (it will nearly double in size).
