Transitioning from the humidity of the summer to the crisp, coolness of Fall can leave your body dry and dull. In this, the second of my Fall Faves Series, I will show you my new, fave body products that will take you from Fall to Winter, looking your most Fab.
When I lived in London there was a spa in Covent Garden that I longed to go to – Sanctuary Spa. But, alas, London is pricey and I was flat broke. So, when this spa released it’s bespoke beauty line in the drug store, Boots, I nearly lost my cool. All the products smelled incredible and worked even better. To this day, when in London I can’t help but snap up these products.
This month I was invited to the launch of ‘Being x Sanctuary’ – a new line from this iconic brand, targeted at a younger, more playful audience. Their marketing says this product line “Packs a punch and smells good enough to eat” and I would agree. With five unique fragrances combinations from Chilli Mango and Tonka Bean to Hibiscus and Coconut Water, their body lotions, scrubs, butters and shower gels stand out from the rest and offer quality at a great price.
Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub & Body Buttercream
Another UK product line found in Canada, Soap & Glory is a brand I’ve loved for years due to their whimsical packaging, tongue and cheek product names, and solid quality.
When I was sent a package of their latest releases I was keen to jump in the shower and first use the award-winning ‘Breakfast Scrub’ Smoothie Star. Smelling of maple, this oat, shea butter and sugar body smoother is a scrub that really works. I’ve said ‘so long’ to scrubs containing plastic beads years ago, so seeing this using bio scrubs is right up my clean-water-system loving alley.
The perfect complement to their scrub is their new ‘Body Buttercream’ Smoothie Star. Packed with ‘5-OIL™’ (pistachio, almond and coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter), I love how this body butter doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or coated, but instead super soft and silky.
Quo Artisan Brush Set (coming soon to Shopper’s Drug Mart across Canada)
Special for this Holiday season, Quo has released their version of the cult-favourite make-up brushes, originally from the brand, Artis. These ergonomic brushes were first favourites of top make-up artists – but the word is out, and now everyone loves using these unique, bristle-dense brushes. I know this story is on body products, and these are mostly used on your face – but the cool thing with these brushes is you can also use them on your shoulder and collar bones (when adding some illumination) and you can even use them to apply fake tanner to body!
Check in next week when I’ll be talking about my Fall Faves for your Face, the final story in this series. So many incredible new products, perfect for this transitional time of year.
