Founded out of Athen’s oldest homeopathic pharmacy in 1996, the KORRES brand is equal parts science and nature due to it’s Chemical Engineer and Pharmacist founders Lena and George Korres.
I have been a fan of KORRES since before you could find them easily across Canada. I used to root through the shelves at WINNERS in hopes it was my lucky day and I could snap up a KORRES product tucked behind a loofah, underneath a shower cap.
Luckily now you can find their lovely face washes, moisturizers and wipes easily at Shopper’s Drug Mart or their online BeautyBoutique, no hunting required.
Last month KORRES released a new product to add to their popular Greek Yoghurt Collection – the Greek Yoghurt Smoothie Priming Moisturizer, this launch had made me wonder why I had never written about this brand before!
So, below is a long overdue write up on a fabulous collection packed with proteins, minerals and vitamins helping to instantly nourish dry, stressed skin with long-term moisturization.
Greek Yoghurt Smoothie Priming Moisturizer ($55)
A lightweight answer for heavyweight hydration. This multi-action priming moisturizer is packed with probiotics, proteins, and minerals to deeply nourish and smooth skin, while also prepping it for flawless makeup application and all-day wear.
Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser ($30)
This soap-free cleanser removes impurities, makeup and mascara without leaving your skin feeling parched. It’s rich texture, lovely soft scent and soothing finish complements its protein and vitamin packed formula. I am always impressed when a cleanser claims it can remove mascara and actually does, and this cleanser does the trick.
Greek Yoghurt Cleansing Wipes ($20)
I think I have written before how cleansing wipes aren’t really my bag of chips. I heard once they are only good for three things: Flight, Festivals and Fannies (…and not the ‘pack’). So I tend to steer clear of them and opt for liquid or foam cleansers. But, in the name of science, I gave these a try and they are really lovely. My face didn’t feel like the Sahara afterwards and they did a fine job of removing most of my make-up. I think these would be a perfect addition to your camping kit.
Greek Yoghurt Nourishing Moisturizer ($46)
This little pot of moisturizer is jam-packed with goodness. Using full-fat Greek yoghurt, its vitamins, protein and minerals are further enhanced with vitamin E, olive oil concentrate and macadamia nuts for a boost of antioxidant protection. The texture is very smooth and runny, so a little goes quite a long way.
