Valentine’s Day is for smooching and I have the perfect smooch-proof lip looks (long-wearing lip products that don’t date move!).
I’ve created three Valentine’s Day looks from four top brands: a Pretty in Pink, a Classic Red and a Bolder Choice.
Starting with a cheap and cheerful, we’ll move toward a more luxe and splurge-worthy brand.
First, let’s start with a bit of 90s nostalgia in the name of Wet n Wild! This brand is making major inroads back into the Canadian market launching a robust collection from photo perfect foundations to these budge proof lipsticks.
Called their ‘MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick’, they come in 13 colours from nude to extremely bold.
First, the price is right – under $7. Second – Wet n Wild is a 100% cruelty-free brand. Third – these lipsticks stay all day. They just won’t budge. So go ahead and lock those lips without having to reapply.

Quo is a brand I used to walk on by when at Shopper’s.
As Julia Roberts once said ‘Big mistake. Big. Huge!’ because this brand keeps on releasing hit after hit. Great price points and even better formulas, I am a big fan of this Canadian brand… Especially their Lip Velour lipsticks (around $13).
They wear beautifully, setting matte but still having a lightly creamy texture. What I love most is the brush – its short and stubby and let’s you apply even the boldest shade confidently.

Stila has always been a brand I can rely on. Their products are well made, don’t irritate my skin and have wearable chic colours.
I profess my love for their Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks ($31) on the regular and have now also been taken by their new Stay All Day MATTE’ificent Lipsticks ($29). These new, weightless, super creamy and comfortable lipsticks never make my lips dry.

Luxury brand, Charlotte Tilbury has made massive waves in the beauty industry since launching just under three years ago. Found in Holt Renfrew, Selfridges and other, top international department stores, their focus on ingredients and performance make this line a top seller and Instagram star.
Her Magic Cream is an international top seller, her blushes are my go-to, and I think her lipsticks are pure magic.
Their texture, build-ability, pigment payoff and wear-ability are like no other. Sold for $27 – $39 these luxe beauties are also long lasting…totally perfect for all the smooching you’ll get up to this week.
