The Fashionable Sporting Life

Although it seems like we’ll never get snow this season in Canada, I’ve decided to fashionably plan for the worst.

So last week I made my way to the newly opened Sporting Life in Southcentre Mall (which is its first store in Western Canada) to see what all the hub-bub has been about…. And what I discovered was that there was A LOT of ‘hub bub‘to be excited about!

This new addition to Calgary’s shopping scene is like no other! Canadian retailer Sporting Life‘s clear objective is to offer high quality products that have fashion forward appeal.

And they don’t just offer brands that everyone else carries.

Sporting Life has collaborated with top brands like Canada Goose and The North Face Summit Series to create original and unique pieces exclusively for their shoppers.

They also have brought in additional designer & brand collaborative collections that you won’t find anywhere else; like LAMB for Burton!

And for those that like to keep the ‘edge’a little more tame (like myself), Sporting Life also has hundreds of other brands and classic pieces that’ll keep you calm and collected while still looking fashionably cool!

I’m absolutely in love with the 5 plaid shirts I just purchased from Woolrich, a brand I haven’t been able to find elsewhere in Calgary.

But it’s not all winter wear and plaids at Sporting Life. They’ve got bags for days. including several dozen from my favourite accessory brand Herschel, not to mention endless shoes, boots and sandals for the entire family and all the sporting equipment you could ever have wished for!

Finally, a company has come to Calgary that has joined the importance of fashion vs function and I couldn’t be more excited!

There is nothing they don’t have, and gads of things you never knew existed until now!

Winter 2016 and seasons onward will be looking good!
