The FAB Hand of the McDonald’s Commercial

August 19, 2015

By know you’ve most definitely seen the new McDonald’s commercial for the Mighty Angus!

The first new permanent menu item to be added to the famed restaurant in the last several years.

The commercial not only features the Calgary Stampede, Cowboy’s and falling bacon; it also features a special surprise….

Me!

More specifically, my hand!

You may or may not know that I’m hand model, yes a very weird claim to fame I know, and as such my hand was booked to be the onion layer in their current commercial.

And although I’ve booked some great jobs in the past, working on this particular project, with this crew was an amazing experience like no other!

It’s always been a dream of mine to be in a McDonald’s commercial and even though it’s just my hand, I feel like I can tick this one off the list!

Mr. Fab hands

  1. That’s unfortunate you were in the commercial. My mom grew up on a farm in Western Canada and we are opposed to rodeo. It demonstrates values the opposite of what her father demonstrated and instilled in his children, namely not to mistreat animals or cause them fear, pain and suffering. Polls show the growing opposition of Canadians to rodeo events. If people want to celebrate heritage, it should be about that, not made up entertainment. Rodeo events don’t represent culture or heritage.

  2. I’m sorry you feel that way about the rodeo.
I have met the ranchers, farmers and rodeo folk and I can assure you that these animals are treated like family.
Also if you look into the heritage of Chuckwagon Racing (for example), you will see the long line of family heritage that has been a part of it.
Those particular horses are racers that have been given a second chance at life. (they are all former race track horses)
I feel if you were to take the time to meet the people and animals up close, you would understand the care that is taken and love that is given to these animals.

Looking forward to reading your comments!
