Yesterday, M. FAB celebrated her 10 year anniversary… A BIG Congratulations!!! And for all you brides-to-be, here’s a great story written for you by the happy wife!
Invited to preview Fall/Winter Bridal Beauty Trends at Toronto’s BlushPretty made me want to get married all over again… Or at least get my hair and make-up done by this artistic team.
One of the leading beauty boutiques in Toronto, there are 15+ artists on their expanding and talented roster. Offering both in-studio or on-location services, BlushPretty is the place for the perfect wedding face.
Held in their gorgeous studio, we were guided through the top four looks for a Fall or Winter 2015 wedding; Up close and personal.
The first look:
Winter Berry Lip
This look was a beautiful combo of romantic and bold.
The deep stain on the lips complemented the gorgeous gold shimmer of the eyes and highlighting on the cheekbones. No glossy lip here.
The hair didn’t detract from the make-up, it was kept off the face but had a gentle sweep to the bangs, so the forehead didn’t become the focus.
Bohemian Chic
A Boho aesthetic is still going strong, but for Fall-Winter it is kicked up a notch by embracing a bit more structure with the hair. Braided back with purposeful curls, the hair is relaxed but casually pretty, just like the make-up.
Nothing too bold for a Boho girl. Keeping it more natural with neutral soft colours and a peachy lip.
Vintage
I loved this look (which took three hours to create). If you’re going for this style, make sure to plan your morning accordingly.
Tight finger waves cascade and provide a classically timeless, elegant look.
This was paired with a bold red lip and light golden eyes that were slightly darkened at the corners for more definition.
Smokey Eye
Not a fit if you’re planning a morning ceremony, the bold eye can be worn for an evening reception followed by cocktails. It’s bold, dramatic and sexy. Paired with the ‘perfect imperfect’ hair that is classic and bold by not trying too hard.
A great selection of looks for every style of bride.
BlushPretty also has a promotion for our readers are celebrating a Fall/Winter wedding – offering any Fall/Winter bride a 15% discount on rates for their wedding day needs. Just mention my name and this post – it’s as simple as that!
