Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to be a model.
As a kid I’d flip through the glossy pages of the Sears catalogue and dream that one day I too might be styled in a dapper, off the rack suit for other little dreamers to be inspired by.
But how would this dream ever come true?
I was cursed with a thick waist and set of knock knees, it seemed I didn’t have the makings of a model.
Or did I?
I grew older, found an agent and even started going after the work myself.
No one ever said “No” to me? But none were saying yes.
Then I discovered the world of stock modelling.
Real faces, doing real things.
And voila, I was booked as a model!
Yesterday, I once again had the pleasure of working with the amazing team from Hero Images.
A team of Creative Directors, Stylists, Makeup Artists and world class Photographers who have managed to turned my dreams into a reality.
A lot of people have a perception of what being a model is or who a model should be.
But the reality is: a model is you.
Models come in all shapes, sizes and colourful packages, and I’m thankful to the teams and companies who produce these shoots and purchase the images.
They have helped me continue to dream big!
