With the news that H&M was opening their largest flagship store in Western Canada it was an obvious decision for me to hop a flight back to Calgary, AB and take a day away from Toronto fashion week.
H&M is hands down my favourite retailer. If it weren’t for their forward thinking design and well constructed garments, my closet would just be a rack of empty hangers.
The store, which opened to the public in Chinook Centre yesterday is the first of the new concept stores in Canada.
The new fixtures & new layout make it easier to shop the collections.
Everything has its place!
And the men’s floor… Praise the Lord!
It’s big, plentiful AND is the first store in Alberta to carry the H&M Grey Label line!
The collection, which is designed using black and shades of grey keeps things a little bit more dangerous. Interesting cuts, rugged lines and faux leather.
It has a similar feel to John Varvatos collection but is priced so I can afford to shop it.
Which brings me to what I love the most about H&M.
There is no other company in the world that brings such a diverse and fashionable collection to shoppers at a price point that allows us to keep current and playful like H&M.
There just simply isn’t!
The new store, which is over 20,000 square feet, also houses a children’s and babies floor and it’s set to make your tots look fabulous!
These swan shoes & purse will have my niece looking like a very fashionable young Bjork!
H&M is going to be taking care of all my gift giving this fall/winter… And next spring…. And next summer… And again next fall!
Ohhhhh H&M, what would I ever do without you!!?
