Sweet Megan and her claim to fame:
The most sold stock model image on the web!
She's my friend & side kick.
Recently returned from Holland to Toronto.
She will now be one of Fab's Eastern correspondents.
Let's see what's new and happening in the hub of Toronto.
Last night my ‘chic-o-metre’ was buzzing as soon as I entered this newly opened, three-level culinary destination Olé Olé.
Located along Toronto’s fashionable King Street East, this Restaurant & Tequila Wine Bar specializes in authentic Mexican and Spanish cuisine.
The best of Mexico and of Spain all in one!
And their award-winning chef creatively combines flavours from each country. The inventive green pepper-wrapped beef on a bed of spiced crème fraiche with pomegranate seeds.
Taste. Sensation.
Not into Spain’s finest wines? Try one of Mexico’s exclusive tequilas.
The feature drink of the night was 1800 Tequila paired with lemon San Pellegrino. I’m not a tequila shooting type of lady, so this sip-able combo was a damned delight of which I indulged on all night!
The amazing décor and perfect lighting make all three floors ideal for a romantic dinner, a fabulous ladies night or a larger, private soiree.
Weekends will feature live DJs, Mexican Boleros and Flamenco nights.
Olé indeed!
But the food and drink isn’t the only amazing part of Olé Olé.
The owner Andrew Lopez believes in giving back and as such, 10% of all total sales before tax and tip are donated to selected charities!
Innovative, chic, charitable, enticing. Just like me.
Thank you Olé Olé for setting the bar a little higher here in TO.
Yours Truly,
M. Fab
