This weekend with not a cloud in the sky the sun shined bright!
Perfect weather for Calgary Pride!
Once again the city’s beloved Mayor Nenshi showed his support of the city’s diverse LGBT community!
I was also very proud to have two good friends walk as a part of the Canadian Olympic Team!
These girls have been training all their life to represent Canada at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and with all the negative controversy happening in Russia, they are still not afraid to say, we love and support you!
This weekend also had me twerking the night away at Pure Pride.
And I wasn’t the only one!
As expected every gay in a thousand mile radius was in house for a night of spectacular live performances including Luciana,
… Who must have taken the stage for over an hour, performing some of her hottest dance tracks for a wild and crazy crowd.
And what would the night be without an amazing performance from Ru Paul’s Drag Race runner-up,
Her new song ‘Nails Nails Nails’ has been stuck in my head ever since!
Then, just when I thought the party couldn’t get anymore outrageous, Adam Killian took to the stage, and the floor, in a rather breathtaking ‘performance’!
And just as he exited stage left, I was lucky enough to get up close and personal with the sexy performer!
I wish I looked this good when I sweat!
So with my head twirling and the world covered in all things rainbows, I decided to head to the patio of the Hyatt to cool things down with some good friends and deliciously inspired cocktails.
Colorful and as fabulous as all the festivities were, this was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend!
I’ve started counting down the days till Calgary Pride 2014!
