Some of my favourite invites come from my friends at Tiffany & Co. and certainly the launch of the Ziegfeld Collection I shared with you this week was one of those!
But always full of surprises, as I entered the secret viewing room to feast my eyes on the ‘Gatsby’ inspired collection, out sat another collection that is about to make its debut into the luxury retailer’s display cabinets… And onto the bodies of some pretty lucky people!
The newest jewelry collection from Paloma Picasso!
The collection, which has been inspired by the olive branch as a symbol of peace and abundance, will contain pieces in sterling silver and 18 karat gold adorned with diamonds and other beautiful and colourful gemstones.
Paloma Picasso introduced her first collection of jewels for Tiffany & Co. in 1980, and for this (her second collection), she has used the inspiration from the surronding olive groves from her home in Morocco.
This leafy 18k gold branch ring is an example of the tranquil and delicate simplicity she had in mind when she designed this collection.
I personally am in love the opulent ease of the collection and I think the light airy designs will help make them perfect accessories for summer!
Fresh!
