This years Home & Garden Show opened its doors yesterday afternoon to a crowd looking to feast on the #YYCFoodTrucks and the hundreds of exhibitors who were offering up some of the best new ideas and styling for your Home & Garden.
I loved the 6 vignettes created by Alykhan Velji , who will also help us “Get into the Mood” during several design segments on the Main Stage!
But my favorite part of this year’s show (as well as last year’s) has got to be the Kensington Pre-Fab DreamHome by Karoleena!
I was invited for a sneak peek filled with Perogy Boyz and Wine; A breakfast of champions indeed.
The home is just over 1750 sq ft, and took only 6 weeks to complete (that time is inclusive of the modular pieces being fabricated in the shop, and two days of being constructed on site). Prefab homes have always been a hopeful idea for the masses and offer unique design opportunities; they should really be looked at as a sustainable way to live in the future!
This home is beyond amazing!
