After under going a multi-million dollar renovation, CORE Shopping has finally removed the scaffolding and revealed an amazing place to shop, thus making it my #1 shopping destination for gift buying for the holiday season.
On top of being the perfect place to shop, the Core has just announced one of the biggest shopping events Calgary has ever seen. On November 30th the Core will be transformed into a glitzy Winter Wonderland and a massive amount of festive food and eggnog will be moved in, but that is just a minor part of the nights festivities.
After you self park for free in one of their 4,200 parking stalls, you will strut the ‘Green’ carpet and be greeted by Lainey Gossip; The event is so huge the famous blogger will be flying in for the event. Then get ready to shop as EVERY retailer will have a ‘one night only’ promo, give-a-way, discount, or special offer.
Sip you’re nog while shopping and get ready for the lighting of the Swarovski adorned Christmas Tree, Calgary’s first and official kick off to the holiday shop season.
If the food, drinks, celebrities and retail therapy weren’t enough, Chantal Kreviazuk will also be performing for all the guests in attendance.
This is a ticketed event with the most ridiculously low-priced ticket I have ever heard of. The CORE is not in this to make money and every cent of the ticket costs will be split and donated to 2 charity’s. This is their way of giving back to our city and to say thank you for patience as they under went the renovations.
The tickets will be sold for $15/each and are available on-line.
I will be teaming up with the CORE for this event and starting tomorrow and every Wednesday leading up to the event I will be doing a Holiday Gift Guide to help you find those amazing products that are CORE exclusive and prefect for giving.
In addition I will be giving away tons of tickets to the event and even some shopping money to spend that night.
So round-up your posse and get ready for the largest VIP shopping event you have ever seen!
See you there!
Mr. Fab
can’t wait for those gift guides, I need some inspiration!
