This weekend is indeed a weekend to celebrate, to do what us gays do best: celebrate life during Gay Pride Calgary.
All the boys will be waxing their bodies to mimic baby seals and all the ladies will be pressing their ‘fancy’ slacks as we gear up for a weekend of fun. Some of the hottest parties that Calgary has ever seen will be in full swing, kicked of by the Miami Heat party at Club Sapian Friday September 2nd @9pm
Growing up in a time where Kit Car was my dream ride and Don Johnson was the coolest kid on TV, I know what Miami dress looks like.
So I thought I’d give you some great ideas on what to wear to this major event.
Now Miami Beach fashion is all about bright colours; Neons, Pastels, White… and Prints are hot.
Bright coloured beach wear like Speedos are totally in; floral prints and tacky Hawaiian shirts are wayyyy off track. And if you’re looking for a few free drinks just complete your look with a popsicle.
Ladies, not interested in wearing bikini or a dress? Here is another look I’d like to see;
A sexy fedora paired with a loose tank with a peak of sex underneath. If showing your money makers is not your thing, why not some linen pants with a fitted white T and a bold scarf belt. Add some gold bangles and necklaces to add that Miami Chola flair.
Guys, feeling left out and want to show a bit of nip and do Miami street…
But what if you like a little from column A and a little from column B? Why not try a hybrid of the two looks complete with model pouty face;
Basically the key to looking HOT for this event is to try something new and step out in fashion. Ditch the boring printed T and try something fabulous! A little goes a long way.
