Off to Palm Springs for a very special trip I decided to break from the norm of frantically running around my home at 6am so as not to be late to the airport and just stay the night in elevated luxury at YYC’s newest hotel offering, the Marriott YYC.
Not only is the hotel’s lobby literally 100 steps to the check in counter for US flights, they are currently offering a Park Here, Fly There booking which includes your 1 night stay AND 8 days complimentary parking starting at $199!!!
What a deal!!
No dragging your bags from a distant parking lot, just drop your car with the valet and they take care of the rest.
As does the rest of the service team in the hotel!
Knowing in advance that our flight was to Palm Springs the next morning, the talented pastry chef sent a surprise up to our room!
A Palm Tree made of chocolate accompanied by a slew of other goodies!
Then when we needed ice or another bathrobe, the exceptional staff was only too quick to help.
Although I had booked a coach class seat, I was being treated to first class hotel stay!
For dinner we decided to visit the Marriott’s YAKIMA Social Kitchen & Bar for a bite to eat.
Baked Brie and roasted garlic to start followed by a handcrafted burger and deliciously memorable Beet Root side salad!
And unlike practically every other hotel where their menu prices are extremely inflated, YAKIMA keeps their prices accessibly fair.
The entire experience of staying the night at the Marriott’s new airport property was not only a stress free way to start my travel but a incredibly smart financial decision!
Stay + parking… $199…. I need not say more!
