A FAB Day in the Park!

August 8, 2017

A few months ago I was approached by the PARKS Foundation and asked if I’d like to share my favourite place to stroll in honour of Canada’s Birthday.

There are so many greenways in Calgary, but there’s one in particular I like to sneak off to that most locals don’t even know exists.

A beautiful place with pathways, waterways and trees that reach for the sky!

Located within city limits, Griffith Woods is only a 15 minute drive from downtown Calgary and borders the community of Discovery Ridge.

It’s perfectly scenic and serenely quiet.

And a great place to enjoy the fresh air and just BE.

Now you know where I sneak off to when I need some time to catch my breath.

Thanks to Calgary PARKS Foundation for letting me share this amazing place with others and to Photographer Janet for capturing these amazing moments.

Hope to see you all out in the ‘woods’ sometime.
