Music of the Night. (Phantom of the Opera Giveaway)

July 25, 2017

Thanks to Columbia House Music Club I was first acquainted with the musical Phantom of the Opera decades ago… And all for only a penny!

Now, many years later it’s still my most favourite Broadway music soundtrack. And when my BFF Sacha and I are left alone too long, you can be sure we’ll end up belting out a poorly tuned version of Think Of Me.

In fact, I’m such a fan of this Broadway Musical that I’ve made a point of seeing it across the world!
Las Vegas, New York, Singapore and now I can add Calgary, Alberta to the list!

Phantom of the Opera will be playing at the the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium from August 8th until the 20th and I plan to see it more than once.

And to share my love of the show, I want to send one of my FAB readers and their guest to the show too!

To enter, I want to know what your fave ‘Music of the Night‘ is!

It doesn’t have to be from the show, or even a Broadway number for that matter… All I Ask of You is that you share what song has you and your BFF belting out loud.

You have 2 ways to enter:

  1. Comment below, sharing your song.

  1. Tweet me your jam, tagging @immrfabulous & @BACtouring in your response.

A winner will be chosen by next week at random and awarded 2 tickets to Phantom of the Opera!

Good luck and I’ll see you at the show!

Mr. Fab Daaé

  1. Phantom of the Opera makes me smile so hard remembering seeing it on Broadway for the very first time. It also makes me laugh because my friends dog HATES it and will howl and howl and howl whenever he hears the music.

I’d have to say the best song to belt out right now is My Shot from Hamilton

  2. Usually when I’m with my cousin Jen after a few drinks we’re belting out pretty much anything by Air Supply.

  3. I belt out loud to Praying by Kesha and I’m also praying to win these tickets!

  4. OMG without a doubt Buenes Aires from Evita! I saw it on Broadway a few years ago with Ricky Martin playing Che. Come on!!!

  5. Since You’ve Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson. Ever since Pitch Perfect came out, that’s what our group will burst into song with.

  6. Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud has been my latest fav but nothing like Shania Twain’s Feels Like A Woman to make it a party. My girlfriends and I sang this all the time at house parties when our kids were small!

  7. Janis Joplin’s Me & Bobby McGee will spontaneously erupt when im in the mood for singing! I’ve never seen Phantom. Sheltered life…

Looking forward to reading your comments!
