Over the past month I’ve got to sip and sample some fab new beauty and beverage products coming soon, across Canada.
First – Puressentiels
This family-founded French company was created in 2005 out of a passion for aromatherapy and natural products. Sourcing ‘only the best essential oils and natural active ingredients’, these products range from air purifiers to sprays to help you sleep.
Because essential oils are anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-septic, their products kick germs in the butt while smelling amazing.
I am in love with their Purifying Air Spray – one bottle is sold every 8 seconds in Europe and now we can finally get our hands on it in Canada starting in September. Learn more about why I love this, so.
Next – Dr Roebucks
‘Sisters, doing it for themselves…’
Identical twin sisters taking their father’s original recipe and extending it to a complete face and body care line formulated to be gentle for sensitive skin while also being totally chemical, BPA and paraben free, never tested on animals and always ethically sourced.
Launching in the Fall, this line will be found at Murale and Shopper’s Drug Mart across Canada.
Now – Debbie Travis has a wine! Yes she does and it’s a total patio-sipping delight.
Debbie Travis to me is the total best. An entrepreneurial dynamo with incredible charisma, tenacity and vision. From TV to textiles, she has now paired with Pilliteri Estates Winery to create the Debbie Travis Fine Wine Collection.
First to be released is her Pinot Grigio – a light, fruit-driven sip that is nice and crisp for those patio days this summer. This is available in the LCBO and across Canada, now.
Finally – Giffard Liqueurs & Sirops
Around since 1885, this French brand is about to makes waves in Canada. With an incredible assortment of liqueurs and syrups – from melon to amaretto to parfait amour, it’s time to dust off those cocktail shakers!
I am currently in cocktail love with their Crème de Violet and brand new Lichi-Li both now available across Canada in select retailers.
For an easy-to-make cocktail that will blow your friends’ socks off – try the ‘Giffard Violet Gimlet’:
2 oz dry gin
0.5 oz Crème de Violet
1 oz lime cordial
Shake with ice and garnish with mint leaves and a cucumber wheel.
