Holiday Advent Calendars 2015

November 3, 2015

I’ve been on a 364 day count down to Christmas 2015 ever since December 26, 2014.

Family, food and presents… I love it all!

And now, to help me countdown the December homestretch, retailers are offering some pretty exciting advent calendars to help me with the last 25 days.

Here are my 5 favourite companies to countdown with.

Craft BeerAdvent
$130-$180 (dependant on provincial location)

This beer advent calendar is like no other on the market.

11 of the craft beers housed behind the windows are special brews manufactured exclusively for this calendar, while 12 others have never been available for purchase in Canada!

Lego
$39.99 (available at Lego, Chinook Centre)

Build a ‘City’ or head outside to play with ‘Friends’.

With 248 pieces Lego offers you daily surprises that will activate your imagination with play.

DAVIDs Tea
$40.00

A specially selected offering from the brand’s 150+ teas, this advent calendar will keep you warm throughout December.

With flavors like Cardamom French Toast and Mulled Cider there is certain to be a flavour for each of your family members to enjoy.

Starbucks
$44.95

With 25 reusable tins, this calendar is certain to be decorating your tree for years to come.

Filled with molded chocolate or peppermint bark each day will be a sweet surprise.

And as always a $5 GC is included so you can head into your local store for an additional treat!

Pottery Barn Kids
$69.00

Growing up our family had a fillable fabric advent calendar.

This particular version from pottery Barn Kids (which recently opened in Chinook Centre) can be personalized with your family name ($10 in store service) and can be filled with treats of your choice.

I’m such a big fan of Cococo Chocolatiers that loading it with their newest holiday treats makes this calendar a perfect fit for me!

Cococo Chocolatiers

If you have a reusable advent calendar, Cococo offers a refill package of 24 individually wrapped, all natural, no artificial preservative chocolates. ($35.00)

And if 24 days is too much for you, perhaps their 12 days of Christmas ($22.50) might be more up your alley… Or should I say chimney!

All of these products and calendars have just been released on the market and will most likely be available for a short time due to popularity.

So if you’re a Christmas countdown fan like myself don’t wait too long to pick up yours!
