I love receiving post deliveries, mystery envelopes with hand written messages are my favourite, but last week when a courier rolled up with a rather large box, I was extra excited!
As I undid the bow and lifted the lid, I nearly fell over backwards when I saw what was in the box!
It’s not everyday you receive a leg in the mail, but when it comes from the famed shoe maker Manolo Blahnik, a lower appendage seems quite appropriate.
At first glance I thought it was a sick joke; a prosthetic leg had been shipped. Then the over-powering scent of chocolate hit my nose; this was a life-size chocolate limb!
For the next several hours, prior to dissection, we spent time playing with our food.
First we re-enacted the popular interrogation scene from Basic Instinct
Followed up by practicing our red carpet look inspired by Angelina Jolie.
But something seemed to be missing from the sugary body part.
What would a delicious leg be without a delicious shoe?!

This by far has been the most creative marketing gift I’ve seen.
It was delicious and it will not be forgotten!
MB, you definately have a real ‘leg-up’ on the competitors, you’re a ‘step ahead of the rest’! Okay… Enough.
