Summer camps are in full swing!
Science Camp for the junior Stephen Hawking (hopefully sans the motor neuron disease), Theatre Camp for the mini Sarah Bernhardt (minus the scandalous affair), and Outdoor Adventure Camp for the wee Steve Irwin (subtract the stingray encounter)… but there is one camp in Calgary that is grabbing the attention of youthful fashionista’s nationwide!
Artists Within-Makeup Academy is running their second annual Teen Fashion Camp.
These 5 day camps are all about teaching teens and tweens positive self-image, health and nutrition, fashion design, age appropriate makeup and application, hair styling, model walking/posing, and shopping on a budget – Something we could all learn a thing or two about!
The last day of camp is concluded with a professional photo shoot in which the ‘campers’ apply all they have learned during the week and get their vogue on!
And you know, to hang with FAB, you gotta be able to give good face!!

What an awesome giveaway – my niece would love it! I am a huge fan of all the sheer tops and low back dresses… so pretty!
My daughter would thrive in a camp like this as she is all about hair and makeup tutorials on youtube and the latest fashion. Her favourite trend this year is likely floral dresses and mine is bright colored skinny jeans and/or capris…wish I could pull that look off as well as her 🙂
