Wrangling Denim with Old Navy

Old Navy!

Yep that’s right… Take what you think you know about Old Navy and then let me share a little story of amazing fresh fashion and delicious fare.

First off, I love shopping there for Halloween costumes for my niece and nephew. And I’m also the first one in line every Christmas to buy my family the matching holiday shirts.

Then, somehow, for the rest of the year I tend to neglect the brand.

But an invite in my mailbox changed all of that.

“Pull up a stool at the virtual denim bar as fitologists help you shop the perfect pair of jeans. Noted stylist Kim Flanagan will show you how to pull off western chic with the latest in Old Navy denim. Strike a pose and visit Blo’s braid bar and enjoy cowboy cocktails and canapés”

Ummmmm… YES PLEASE!

So I was off to the very popular ‘Model Milk’ restaurant in Calgary to see what Old Navy fashion had to offer me!

When I first arrived I made a quick b-line to the BLO station to get my ‘country braids’, I was going be the bell of this denim ball!

Next stop was the bar… From my experience in the past, jean shopping has not been a memorable experience, so I thought I could use a liquid distraction.

Delicious specialty cocktails for the occasion served from tiny mason jars… this planner didn’t miss a thing!

As I made my way into the social center of the room, I was presented with a $60 Old Navy gift card; More than enough money to score the perfect pair of denim.

Then as promised, a fitoligist appeared with an iPad and helped me through the online process of selecting my fit. She listened to what I wanted and seemed to understand my ‘concerns’; she was very certain she had just the right pair for me!

She took my info and soon my Jeans will be arriving via post! For once, shopping for bottoms was a breeze!

With Stampede a few days away and based on the quality, fit, styles and price I may buy several more pairs to save me from spending time doing laundry!

And let’s get YOU started with a pair too!

I’ve got a $60 Gift Card with a readers name on it and I’m giving it away in 24 hours!

As always you’ve got two ways to enter!
