Papyrus with a ‘Cherry’ on Top Giveaway!

June 22, 2012

Call me Naomi Campbell… usually I don’t get out of bed before noon for less than 10,000 dollars, but yesterday morning an invite which included the word “Breakfast” was more than enough for me!

It was a celebration for my favourite card store Papyrus.

They were opening Canada’s first luxurious ‘Cherry Blossom Vintage’ concept store and not only did they promise me delicious food but a chance to print my own personalized stationary!

As most of my friends are drunks, I had to scroll the Rolodex (yes I still live in 1983) to find a date that would be a good fit.

As I flipped through the ‘P’ section, the word ‘Pregnant’ caught my eye… who better to take than my ‘with-child’ best friend. With a baby at home and the second on the way I was certain that she wouldn’t be sleeping in past 6am.

My breakfast was her lunch.

The new store located in Chinook Centre is the first concept store in Canada which offers a full-time specialist to help you find your perfect personalized paper products. Whether it be invitations, cards or stationary they have a wildly large collection of samples and type to choose from

I was finally about to have my very own Mr.Fab stationary set!

As I sat down with my BFF they displayed a selection of coloured paper and sample fonts to choose from. The small selection I was presented totally overwhelmed me, but thanks to the professionals I was guided through the process and all my stresses disappeared.

Now my cards will be very basic, but if you’re looking for monograms, frills and embossing… they have a ton of those options too.

The service doesn’t end there; they also are able to personalize any of the boxed assortments of cards they already have in stock.

I am a huge fan of Kate Spade and for an additional $11.95 they are able to adorn them with a message of my choice.

Such a nice way to take the value of a boxed set and make them so much more!

This store has truly become one stop gift shopping (minus the postage stamps… which, with my suggestion, may be sold in-stores soon)!

Of course my friends over at Papyrus know how valuable my readers are to me, so they haven’t forgotten about you.

They would like to give you the same opportunity I had!

A chance to pop by the store to have a set of personalized cards made for YOU!

Not only that, they want you to have the swag bag that I left the store with as well!!!

As always you’ll have two ways to enter!

1. Tweet the following;

Papyrus just opened in @ChinookCentre & @immrfabulous is sending someone there to have personalized stationary made! http://wp.me/p1mskh-1z9

2. Comment Below;

Tell me “Who’s the last person you bought a card for?”

Mine is a little musical number for my niece, hopefully to drive my brother and sister-in-law nuts!

Contest will close on Sunday night and winner will be randomly chosen!

Good Luck
