I’ll pick a winner in 48 hours;

And don’t worry, if you don’t win these tickets I have another set up tomorrow for a totally different event this weekend!

Mr. Fab and wine

  1. My favourite food is anything with bacon in it. Whether it’s an appetizer or a main course, bacon makes everything taste wonderful!

  2. I’ve always had the hardest time trying to pick a fav food, but I think that Lobster has to take the cake (or my grandma’s curry, rice, and parathas – who can say no to home cooked Indian food? 😛 ) But those that you’ve mentioned might change my mind if I was lucky enough to taste them 😉

  3. I have sooo many favourite foods but I’d have to say barbecued duck with a nice glass of red wine is my favourite!!!

  4. Hmmm…..I think its gotta be chicken. Soooo many yummy ways to cook it. But a very close second would be seafood. Oh but there are toooo many!

  5. sushi – any kind but the more wacky the name and foreign the ingredients – the better. Fave ever is Gourd Kyanpyo from Nobu in dubai… i have no idea what was in it but I crave it.

  6. Continuing on the Japanese theme, I was introduced to regional “street food” while living in Osaka for a year. It is called takoyaki — or Japanese octopus balls. Takoyaki is a mystery melange of fried dough, sliced octopus tentacles with crispy fish flakes and green onion on top, seasoned with mayonnaise and BBQ sauce (of the Japanese variety). Only place I know that sells it Japanese style in North America is a hole-in-the-wall in the East Village of Manhattan called Otafuku. Amazing.

  7. Pan seared scallops, wild mushroom rissoto, grilled asparagus. Served with a nice Chardonnay.
